The Book Of Mormon Colorado Springs Theatre reviews
It's almost been 50 years, Carlos
"50 years have passed since I last witnessed a talented young rocker named The Book Of Mormon perform in "concert" (yes, it was Woodstock). None of us can forget his latin guitar riffs and the epic drum solo by Michael Shrive. Last night, fast forward 50 years, another epic show unfolded. This time, I witnessed the blossoming of a great musical artist/entertainer. The Book Of Mormon is still thriving in his prime. The exceptional touring band, led by him, not only rocked the house but also allowed us to meet a deeply spiritual, socially conscious, playful, and loving husband. His "moments" with the drummer and wife, Cindy, added sweetness to the evening (as did the occasional scent of weed in the night air). Bless The Book Of Mormon and his team for giving us the chance to once again relish the finest live music of our time — and for letting us share this joy with our children."
